How do I enrol?
Study Programmes
You may be required to complete an initial assessment or interview prior to joining your course. We will discuss with you your reasons for undertaking a course and what you want to achieve.
You can enrol on a course in person in our centres or by calling us on 03000 41 71 23. One of our Engagement and Progression Officers will contact you to arrange an initial meeting to discuss the best options for you and can provide impartial information and advice to help you make the right decision about what to do next.
How will I be supported?
Study Programmes
As part of your course, you will complete an initial assessment to identify your strengths and what your tutor needs to support you with. At the start of the course, you will attend a learner induction which will explain the course contents. Your tutor will support you throughout your course. They will discuss your individual goals in your Individual Learning Plan (ILP), provide feedback on your progress, review and discuss your targets and your next steps. You will have access to resources and online learning platforms where required. We can also provide additional support and welfare, where required; for example, the possibility of financial support e.g. with your travel costs, resources from the 16-19 Bursary fund (subject to status)
Completing your course and exam
Study Programmes
You may be required to complete exams and this will be discussed at interview stage. You will be provided with any access arrangements if needed for your exams which will be discussed with your tutor.
