Important Update: Apprenticeship Provision
Date Published: 30/03/2026
View all news storiesFollowing a strategic review, Kent Training and Apprenticeships (KT&A) are no longer delivering apprenticeship programmes, and will not be taking on any new apprenticeship starts. This decision has not been taken lightly and reflects the changes in the current wider apprenticeship landscape.
Current apprentices and employers will continue to receive full support and, where appropriate, will be guided through a transition plan to ensure continuity of learning with minimal disruption.
Information for Employers - Apprenticeship Support and Alternative Providers
Employers who are considering apprenticeship opportunities, can access comprehensive guidance and support via government services. The GOV.UK website provides clear information on employing an apprentice, including employer responsibilities and available funding: Employing an apprentice: Overview - GOV.UK
Employers can also search for approved apprenticeship training providers by location, sector, and standard using the official service: Find apprenticeship training if you're an employer - GOV.UK
Further details on apprenticeship funding, levy and non-levy arrangements, and financial support are available at: Get funding for apprenticeship training - GOV.UK
These resources will help employers identify suitable alternative providers and continue to invest in skills development.
