Welfare funds to be cut to fund 3 million apprenticeships
David Cameron will announce on Monday that he plans for the future Conservative government to put an end to youth unemployment by using £1 billion from welfare spending cuts to fund 3 million apprenticeships.
Mr Cameron said:
“Because of difficult decisions we will make on welfare, we will deliver 3 million apprenticeships by 2020. This is a crucial part of our long-term economic plan to secure a better future for Britain.
“We have already doubled apprenticeships this parliament. We will finish the job in the next and end youth unemployment.”
