DESCRIPTION OF VACANCY
As a Business Administration Apprentice here at Flowbird you will be providing admin support to the Office Manager across the project management system and a variety of administrative duties. A good knowledge of Microsoft office applications is desired as well as attention to detail and good verbal and written skills.
Flowbird are an exciting and growing company so this is an ideal opportunity for the right person to further their career and gain a permanent position at the end of the Apprenticeship.
- Supporting Office Manager with Project Management System
- Maintaining company records
- Supporting with marketing automation campaigns
- Monitoring monthly retainers and staff time tracking
- Software related tasks
- Monitoring incoming email communication
- Creating job tickets
- Data input
- Writing quotes for customers
- Other administrative duties as required
9.00am – 4.00pm Monday – Thursday (1/2 hour lunch)
9.00am – 1.00pm Friday
- Attention to detail
- Good written skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word & Excel
- Knowledge of Google Apps
- Interest in providing good customer service
- Interest in IT and software desirable
A* – D Maths and English (or equivalent)
ICT qualification desirable
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
As of 1st April 2019, the NMW for Apprentices is £3.90 per hour. This applies to 16 - 18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the Apprentice National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
The wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent in training.
The employer has asked that you do not contact them direct. Doing so could jeopardise your application. You will be responsible for your travel expenses to and from your place of work.
