Konnex/MCD South supply and install gas and electrical appliances for clients such as John Lewis and several large house builders such as Persimmon and Bellway Homes.
We are going through a period of growth and are looking for an apprentice who will grow with the business and become a valued part of the team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to establish themselves in an expanding company.
The successful candidate will be supporting the management team in all aspects of office and operational administration but will also be expected to be an all rounder and to get involved in stock control, meetings, site visits and all aspects of the business.
- Providing support to the management team.
- Receiving and making calls to engineers and clients.
- Passing messages in a timely manner.
- Log expressions of dissatisfaction and update records accordingly.
- Recording sickness and holiday on dedicated app
- Attending meetings with customers
- Providing excellent customer service skills
- General administration and office support.
£3.90 per hour
Monday – Friday
8am – 5pm / 9am – 6pm
(Maybe a requirement to work occasional Saturdays)
1 hour lunchbreak (unpaid)
- Computer literate
- An understanding of Google Sheets

Minimum achieved Grade D or equivalent in English and Maths.
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Standard – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
As of 1st April 2018, the NMW for Apprentices is £3.70 per hour. This applies to 16 - 18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the Apprentice National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
The wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent in training.
The employer has asked that you do not contact them direct. Doing so could jeopardise your application. You will be responsible for your travel expenses to and from your place of work.
