Apprentice Warehouse and Storage Operative (Level 2/Intermediate) – KT&A2304
Vacancy reference: KT&A2304
Adept Elevator Storage & Distribution offers a specialist storage and distribution service to the Elevator Industry. The company has trading for over 30 years and due to growth the storage and distribution operation was set up 13 years ago.
We operate out of a modern warehouse based upon the prestigious Questor Industrial estate; where we receive delivery of elevators from suppliers based in Europe, on behalf of UK based Lift Companies.
The elevator equipment is held in storage until the UK Lift Company instructs release; it is then delivered on one of our own fleet of lorries, which have cranes on board to assist with off-loading.
At Adept Elevator Storage & Distribution, you will be part of a small friendly team that recognises that its staff are equally as important as its customers.
We need a team player who is willing to learn and is happy to be involved in all aspects of running a busy warehouse. You will be processing goods in and out of the warehouse and will be trained to use a Forklift Counterbalance Truck.
An attentive eye for analysing the contents of delivery documentation will open the door for your eventual progress within the company.
You will be involved with offloading, measuring and labelling goods; before ‘putting away’ into the storage area.
This is certainly a position where you can develop and grow with the company!
