DESCRIPTION OF VACANCY
Capella Solutions is one of the leading companies in its industry and has recently re-located its Head Office and Warehouse to Sittingbourne.
This has presented an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic apprentice to join the team within the warehouse, whilst working towards the Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2.
Full training will be provided as you join a friendly and enthusiastic team, with scope for your role to evolve with experience.

Tasks will include – but are not limited to – the following:
– Taking in deliveries
-Checking for damaged or missing orders
-Moving stock / loading goods for dispatch
-Maintaining stock records and documentation
– Booking in transport and containers
£4.35 p/h (£174 per week)
40 working hours per week
Mon -Fri 8am – 4.30pm
30 mins Paid Lunch Break
2 x 15 min Unpaid Breaks

- Comfortable communicating with others
- Good time keeping
GCSE A-C or equivalent preferred
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
As of 1st April 2019, the NMW for Apprentices is £3.90 per hour. This applies to 16 - 18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the Apprentice National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
The wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent in training.
The employer has asked that you do not contact them direct. Doing so could jeopardise your application. You will be responsible for your travel expenses to and from your place of work.
