Job Responsibilities:
• Searching database for suitable candidates to match vacancies as directed by the director
• Daily screening of newly registered job applications.
• Add applicants and vacancies to company database
• Running candidate searches via the in-house database, external databases, Linked In and any other repository.
• Initial review of candidates to ascertain suitability.
• Contacting staff weekly for their availability to hours to work
• Liaising with clients with confirm details of their requests for placement of staff
• Covering the director’s phones and/or emails during his absence
• Assisting in the production of effective advertising for registered vacancies
• To give a high standard of presentation in sending communications such as job applications, welcome packs, emails and letters.
• Answer, screen and transfer inbound telephone calls, take and pass on relevant messages and present an excellent image of the company in doing so.
• Resolve administrative problems and enquiries and give written and oral responses to routine enquiries received from external parties.
• Comply with company policies and procedures on Health and Safety, Safeguarding, Equal Opportunities and undertake relevant training in these areas to ensure competence and compliance.
• Any other duties as may be reasonably required by the purview of the post.


Starting pay £175 per week (£5 per hour)


Monday to Friday

9am – 5pm with 1 hour break (unpaid)

A Levels / AS Levels an advantage

GCSE’s at grade A* to C or grade 4-9 English and Maths a minimum.

ICT an advantage


On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.

Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.


Additional Detail

As of 1st April 2019, the NMW for Apprentices is £3.90 per hour. This applies to 16 - 18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the Apprentice National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.

The wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent in training.

Important Information
