DESCRIPTION OF VACANCY
This is a unique and exciting opportunity, starting in January 2020, for an Apprentice Partner Support Administrator to provide administrative support to Donna Bowey and Mark Cosgrave. The pair are two established local financial advisors who share an office space in the thriving Hereson Community Centre, Ramsgate.
Within this role you will learn a range of administrative skills that will form a valuable foundation to your career. Working in a small but friendly team, your professional development will be well supported and there is real scope to progress within the company upon your completion of the apprenticeship.

Some of the main duties will include: –
– Preparing letters
– Processing information and collating spreadsheets, including those relating to paraplanning.
– Keeping all relevant databases up to date with client data
– Ordering office equipment including stationery
– Photocopying duties
– Ordering and writing client birthday cards
£150 per week
30 paid hours a week:
Monday – Friday 10:00 – 16:00
Includes half an hour paid lunch break

English – GCSE Grade C / 4 Minimum
Maths – GCSE Grade C / 4 Minimum
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
As of 1st April 2019, the NMW for Apprentices is £3.90 per hour. This applies to 16 - 18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the Apprentice National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
The wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent in training.
The employer has asked that you do not contact them direct. Doing so could jeopardise your application. You will be responsible for your travel expenses to and from your place of work.
