Balgores open their Gravesend branch in June 2015 and has successfully grown to become market leading in the area.

Description of Vacancy

This exciting opportunity is for someone looking to get into the property sector.

This position will allow the candidate to work at Balgores and learn how the sector works.

You will be working in a busy vibrant office. Your job includes greeting clients at the office answering calls from tenants and landlords, sending out canvassing material to attract new landlords, managing post and communications, carrying out all aspects of office administration and supporting lettings staff where required.

Full training will be provided

We are looking for someone to complete general office duties and to offer support to our Lettings Team. Some of the duties included will be:-

  • Greeting and speaking to customers
  • Answer telephone enquiries
  • Maintaining customer records
  • General filing and data updates
  • Act as customer service contact for both Tenants and Landlords
  • Contacting customers to arrange and manage viewings
  • Respond to all communication from our clients.
  • Be responsible for ensuring there are    sufficient stocks of property details
  • Assist in creating marketing collateral
  • Supporting social media releases
  • Office filing, printing and data input
  • Perform referencing on applicants.
  • All other general office administration


£3.90 per hour


Mon –Fri

8.30am – 6.00pm


8.30am – 5pm

1 Day Off in the week

Employees are required  to work Saturdays.

1 hour paid lunch

Qualifications Required

Maths & English A-C

Training Provided

On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Standard – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.

Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.

Additional Detail

As of 1st April 2018, the NMW for Apprentices is £3.70 per hour. This applies to 16 - 18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the Apprentice National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.

The wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent in training.
