Rural GP practice providing healthcare to 14,500 patients in the Tenterden and Surrounding areas. Wide range of services including GP, treatment rooms and nursing services.

DESCRIPTION OF VACANCY
Variety of patient facing tasks including making appointments, dealing with patients tasks queries and requests .
Providing administrative takes to GPs and other members of the team.
- Actioning Doctors requests
- Dealing with patients by phone or face to face
- Filing / note pulling
- Generating letters and forms
- Appointment booking
- Register new temporary and permanent patients to the practice and deal with associated documentation with the regulatory authorities
- Patient record summarizing / scanning
- Other duties as required

37.5 hours a week
2 X 15 minute breaks (am & pm) daily
1 hr lunch break daily

A* – D GCSE English and Maths
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
As of 1st April 2019, the NMW for Apprentices is £3.90 per hour. This applies to 16 - 18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the Apprentice National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
The wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent in training.
