Centenary Solicitors are a niche law firm working in the areas of Personal Injury, Sexual Abuse, Military Accidents and Commercial Services.
We aim to provide a high standard of advice to all of our clients often in their most vulnerable times. We act for clients on a national basis throughout England and Wales.
Our offices are currently based on Sandgate Road Folkestone although we will be moving to Cheriton Road in the next month or so.
Description of Vacancy
We require an Administrative Assistant to assist with our growing companies administrative duties such as, Filing, Banking, File Opening, Case Management Monitoring, Data Entry and much more. Full training provided. This is a very varied and exciting role.
Successful candidates will assist within our Administrative Duties. This is a very exciting and varied role where the successful applicant will learn all areas of Admin.
The role will involve, although is not limited to the following:
- Electronic Book Keeping
- Business Accounts Management
- End of Month Accounts Reconciliations
- Marketing assistance (where required)
- Database Management
- New Client Files
- Answering Telephones
- Incoming and outgoing mail
£136.00 per week plus any paid overtime
Raising to £180.00 per week plus overtime after 3 months and £220 per week after 9 months plus overtime.
Monday to Friday
1 hour paid lunch.
GCSE Grades A-C in Maths
GCSE Grades A-C in English or equivalent.

On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards
As of 1st April 2018, the NMW for Apprentices is £3.70 per hour. This applies to 16 - 18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the Apprentice National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
The wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent in training.
The employer has asked that you do not contact them direct. Doing so could jeopardise your application. You will be responsible for your travel expenses to and from your place of work.
