Whitehole Industries is based in Northfleet, Kent and is a wholesale and e-commerce company.

We sell a wide variety of goods through eBay and other internet platforms. We pride ourselves on our customer service and prompt delivery.  We are a small team but growing fast and looking for someone who wants to excel and move on in business.

DESCRIPTION OF VACANCY

We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual to join the e-comm. team

With the intention of promoting them to e-comm. the manager should they excel in their apprenticeship

Come and join us at our training office. We are looking for an enthusiastic person with an interest in social media and a good eye for detail. The position is to support and manage all aspects of our administration and to support the social media output for the business. You will be dealing with customers both on the phone and in the office, manage a busy diary and check details are correct.

You will be involved in every aspect of administration.

The ideal candidate will have some experience and confidence with online software such as eBay.

The main responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Translation of customer requirements from eBay orders.
  • Coordinate with other members of staff.
  • Help to generally maintain the warehouse to suit these needs.
  • Organising and arranging customer orders.
  • Packing goods for shipment via a domestic carrier.
  • Using the company accounts system to produce quotations and invoices.
  • Passing on messages received by phone and email.
  • Providing additional administrational support as required.
  • Use of MS Office.

Assisting Management when required.

WAGE

£4.19 per hour

HOURS

Mon to Friday

9 am to 5 pm

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

GCSE 4 or above or equivalent in Maths and English

ICT qualification preferred

TRAINING PROVIDED

On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship and Functional Skills if appropriate.

Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards

 

Additional Detail

As of 1st April 2020, the NMW for Apprentices is £4.15 per hour. This applies to 16 - 18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the Apprentice National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.

The wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent in training.

Important Information
