Parkview Care owns two children’s homes (for children ages 8-17) and a school, which are registered with Ofsted. We are rapidly expanding and require an admin assistant and hr assistant to join our friendly team.

DESCRIPTION OF VACANCY
Parkview Care has an exciting opportunity to join our friendly team. These roles will be to support all admin/ HR functions and will suit someone who wishes to progress their career and learn about the social care sector. We work in a fast-paced environment, where every day is different so you will never be bored!
The role will cover a range of administrative duties, which will include – but are not limited to – the following:
– Booking in interviews
-Sending and verifying references
– Booking contractors
– Minuting meetings
– Making telephone calls
– Archiving records
£4.15 per hour
38.25 working hours per week:
Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00
Includes a 20-minute lunch break (unpaid)
Proficient in all Microsoft Office programmes
Good telephone manner
Driving license preferential as may need to visit sites
Friendly, reliable, willing to learn, adaptable
Minimum grade C/4 in English and Maths GCSE or equivalent
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship and Functional Skills if appropriate.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
As of 1st April 2021, the NMW for Apprentices is £4.30 per hour. This applies to 16 - 18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the Apprentice National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
The wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent in training.
The employer has asked that you do not contact them direct. Doing so could jeopardise your application. You will be responsible for your travel expenses to and from your place of work.
