Success stories: meet our apprentices…
29-year-old Natasha was first introduced into the world of teaching when she volunteered at a local nursery. Seeing her passion for the work, she quickly became employed by the nursery and soon enrolled on a training programme with Kent Training & Apprenticeships. This allowed Natasha the opportunity to earn a wage and study at the same time, working to achieve the Diploma in Early Years Practitioner Level 3. Unfortunately, Natasha’s journey was not completely smooth. She ran into issues when studying due to her dyslexia and personal problems. However, Natasha’s incredible determination and the support from her tutor and colleagues got her through the issues and she successfully completed the qualification in January 2021.
Natasha says: “Thanks to Kent Training & Apprenticeships and the continuous support of my tutor, who never gave up on me, I am now going to be doing a job I feel so passionate about which is a special needs teaching assistant”.
We are so proud of Natasha’s achievement and wish her the best of luck in her teaching career.
