Study Programmes – Work Ready
Moving into the world of work can be difficult, and more so if you haven’t got the essential grades or work experience to get you started. At Kent Training and Apprenticeships we offer a Work Ready Programme designed to help you gain the skills you need to progress onto an apprenticeship, traineeship or work. This means that if you are 16 to 18 (up to 24 if you have an EHCP) and not in full time employment or education, you can still get the qualifications and work experience you need to kick-start your career. You will begin by gaining Functional Skills qualifications, gaining 10 weeks work experience as well as attending employability workshops which will help you gain confidence and understand the world of work.
But it doesn’t just end there. Our staff will help you progress onto whatever it is you choose to do. You will be guided to a traineeship, an apprenticeship, work or further education. And it all depends on you – the programme isn’t just about getting any job; it’s about getting you started with a rewarding career you can enjoy for many years to come. So don’t wait!
