Description of Vacancy

Do you love bridal wear? Then is the place for you. Our Customers are spread throughout Europe and we are looking for an enthusiastic IT literate person to support our busy team. As Office Support junior you will have general office responsibilities as well as supporting our IT manager with Social Media updates and network management. There are plenty of prospects for advancement for the right candidate.

Job Description

We are looking for someone to complete general office duties and to offer support to our team. Some of the duties included will be:

  • Switchboard/telephone
  • Post in/out/couriers
  • Managing emails
  • Managing orders
  • Typing/correspondence
  • Data inputting
  • General filing duties

Skills Required

  • Basic computer skills
  • English/Maths/ICT
  • Ability to work well on their own
  • Good telephone manner, polite and professional
  • Ability to work in an organised and structured way
  • Good understanding of IT
  • Interest in social media
  • Good understanding of Microsoft packages

  • Punctual
  • Enthusiastic
  • Organised
  • Good attention to detail
  • Well-spoken and presentable
  • Good sense of humour
  • Ability to work within a close-knit team

Qualifications Required

Minimum of Level 1 in Maths and English


3 days a week – times to be discussed at interview

Future Prospects

Potential for full time employment/Apprenticeship for the correct candidate

Training Provided

On the job training with the employer and Functional Skills if appropriate. Regular work based reviews carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor
