KT&A Celebrates National Apprenticeship Week 2016

It’s National Apprenticeship Week!

The key themes for National Apprenticeship Week 2016 are: “An apprenticeship can take you anywhere”, showing how young people, entrepreneurs and businesses can “rise to the top” through traineeships and apprenticeships.

Throughout National Apprenticeship Week 2016 we’ll be releasing a series of videos showcasing just one of our KT&A success stories. We’ll be speaking to one past Apprentice and their employer, about their experiences of Apprenticeships with KT&A.

As one of Kent’s Leading Providers for Apprenticeships, Traineeships and Work-based learning we certainly work with a diverse range of businesses and we’re hoping that the videos give potential learners and employers a sense of the opportunity which comes with upskilling and training.

So without further ado here’s part one…

This video features Ryan Charrington, an Administration Assistant, who was offered a 12 month contract after successfully completing his Level 2 Business Administration Apprenticeship within the Building Control Department of Sevenoaks District Council.

Here’s part two of the video which outlines the application process and what to expect when you begin your Apprenticeship:

..and last but not least is part three which introduces us to Joe Brooks, the Building Control Partnership Manager, who interviewed and hired Ryan as an apprentice.

Want to get involved?

Whether you’re a young person looking for your first opportunity in the world of work or an employer looking to grow your business then there’s no better time than National Apprentice Week to find out more!
