Our CMI Level 5 Apprenticeship in Operations/Departmental Management will help prepare your employees for the future by giving them the up to date leadership and management skills that will have a major impact on the development, productivity and performance of your business.
Our Level 5 Apprenticeship Standard will support the development that will enable staff to flourish in their role as a manager, it will help middle managers to gain skills in strategic planning and business process design, alongside core leadership abilities. The programme is designed to enable development of management approaches that will bring strategies and visions for the future to fruition.
What will the Apprenticeship cover?
Classroom based sessions create the opportunity to explore, reflect and support the functions and development of critical management aspects. These include:
- Contributing to organisational strategy
- Delivering operational plans
- Project management
- Leading and managing teams
- Managing change
- Financial and resource management
- Talent management, coaching and mentoring
Are there any added benefits?
As part of the programme, candidates will study a Chartered Management Institute Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership.
There will also be the opportunity to gain CMI membership on completion of the qualification, offering a comprehensive range of benefits and support.
What level is the Apprenticeship?
This new Apprentice Standard is set at Level 5.
What are the entry requirements?
Functional Skills are required at Level 2 in maths and English. Candidates should have sufficient management experience or have access within their current role to carry out the responsibilities required.
90% of the Apprenticeship training costs will be funded by the government unless you are a levy payer in which case the full amount will be taken from your levy account.
How long does it take to complete?
The Apprenticeship should take between 2 and 2½ years to complete, based on the ability of each individual candidate to meet the mandatory level of knowledge, skills and behaviours.
