Our learners have a lot of success stories to share. And we believe they deserve to be heard. Carry on reading and see how much our learners have achieved, and how you could too.
Sam
When Sam first joined the Work Ready programme, he lacked confidence in himself, his skills and his abilities. He was an eccentric character which stood him apart from the other learners and made it hard for him to develop his communication skills and bond with his classmates.
Ciaran
Ciaran had applied for numerous apprenticeships, but as a wheelchair user found that many companies were just not equipped to take him on. However, after a meeting with KT&A things changed when Ciaran was introduced to a charity specialising in supporting those with learning difficulties.
Paulina
Paulina joined KT&A as she felt that her GCSE grades were not good enough for her to go on to further education so she needed to find a job. KT&A explained to her that the Work Ready Extra programme would help her find a place on an apprenticeship, where she could be in paid employment whilst learning new skills and gaining the qualifications that she was lacking.
Nick
After applying for several apprenticeships without being shortlisted, Nick enrolled onto the Work Ready Extra programme. He wanted to polish his interview skills, get better at filling in application forms and gain certificates in functional skills.
