KT&A Apprentice is elected to National Union of Apprentices leadership team
One KT&A apprentice has been recognised for her hard work by her peers, and has been elected to the Leadership Team of the National Union of Apprentices.
Amelia Kury, a KCC Participation Worker Apprentice, will be using her own experience as an apprentice to try and improve the journey for current and future apprentices across the country.
The eight-person leadership team will be suggesting ways that apprenticeships across Kent can be improved. This will include how apprentices can be given useful career advice during and after their apprenticeship. They will also discuss apprenticeship pay and travel costs for apprentices who do not drive.
The team will combine many different levels of knowledge and experience, and Amelia’s ideas will be making a difference for apprentices across the county. All at KT&A would like to congratulate her on this achievement.
