Description of Vacancy
Assist in the day to day delivery of front of house services for Libraries, Registration and Archives.
Job Description
- Meet and greet all customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Assist customers with ICT use
- Respond to customer enquiries
- Ensuring the library is well presented at all times
- Booking appointments for customers using a variety of ICT systems
- Promoting events and activities
Skills Required
- Basic computer skills
- English/Maths/ICT
- Ability to work well on their own
- Good telephone manner, polite and professional
- Ability to work in an organised and structured way
- Good understanding of IT

- Punctual
- Enthusiastic
- Organised
- Good attention to detail
Qualifications Required
Minimum of Level 1 in maths and English
Hours
3 days a week – times to be discussed at interview
Future Prospects
Potential for full time employment/apprenticeship for the correct candidate
Training Provided
On the job training with the employer and Functional Skills if appropriate.
Regular work based reviews carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor
