Changes for Non-Levy Employers
Employers who don’t currently pay into the Apprenticeship Levy, have been paying a 10% contribution for Apprenticeship training for any learner aged 19+. This has now been halved by the government. As of the 1st of April the co-funding contribution will be 5%, making it even more cost effective to take on an Apprentice.
The new co-investment rate applies to new Apprenticeships starting on or after 1st April 2019.
In addition to this change, employers may be entitled to a government grant to further support in the investment for training Apprentices. Speak to one of our Partnership Managers for more details.
