Centres closed

In light of the Government’s recent announcement regarding the national lockdown, we have made the decision to close our centres, at close of business on 5th January 2021. Where possible, our courses will transfer to a real time and online environment. A member of our Curriculum team will contact you, if you are enrolled on a course which is now being delivered online. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.

This decision has been made in order to comply with Government guidance to stop non-essential contact and to prioritise your health and safety as well as that of our staff.

This means that none of our classes will run from any of our physical buildings until further notice. During this time however, there is much that we can continue to do to keep learning running within the County.

We will be keeping our “Virtual Learning Environment” (Moodle) openly accessible. Our goal is that as many people as possible complete their programme of study.

We are also fully committed to ensuring that as many learners as possible can complete their qualifications. For qualifications such as Functional Skills in English and Maths, we are currently exploring ways in which learners will be able to sit their exam in an appropriate setting. We will be providing details of how this can happen in the near future.

All our teams are equipped to work from non-office, or non-centre based locations and will continue to work during regular office hours with full access to emails, telephones and related materials.

Many thanks for your cooperation and understanding during this challenging time for all of us.
