KT&A’s Pathfinder is our newly launched three step programme to help you get used to the world of work and get the qualifications and skills you need to move forward. This programme looks at identifying career choices, team building activities, interview skills, best practice for the workplace and gives you a work taster too.

What does it include?

  1. A 20 week programme consisting of 2 days (12 hours) per week of classroom work to gain a Gateway Employability Award (Entry 3 or Level 1) which future employers will value
  2. Identification of your career choices, giving you interview skills, teamwork skills and helping you to learn best practice behaviors for the workplace
  3. The opportunity to gain Functional Skills in English and maths up to Level 1

Who is it suitable for?

Pathfinder is suitable for young people aged 16-24 in Kent & Medway who are looking to leave school or are not currently in employment, education or training and who might not be quite ready for our Work Ready Extra offering.
