KT&A learner nominates their Mentor to win CLS Award

A learner who is on a placement with Kent Training & Apprenticeships nominated their mentor to win a KT&A Mentor Recognition Award. Learners on an Apprenticeship, Traineeship or Study Programme with KT&A were able to nominate their mentors to win a CLS Employer Mentor Recognition Award early this year.

One learner nominated their mentor Claire, who works at Wincheap Foundation Primary School, to win an award as they felt she has helped them grow in confidence and gave them advice when dealing with a difficult situation that happened in the playground. The learner explained how Claire gives amazing advice and is always there to help. They said: “Without her I wouldn’t be as confident as I am working with children. She’s given me the confidence to do what I do on a daily basis.”

Claire was presented with her award by Janice, our Curriculum Manager for Apprenticeships.
